Trees and Foliage ~adding details

  • Watercolor Techniques:

    • Objective: practice the depiction of various tree and foliage types, including both deciduous and evergreen species.

    • Techniques to Practice:

      • Wet-on-Wet Technique: Use this to create soft, blurred edges for tree canopies and atmospheric effects.

      • Dry Brush Technique: Apply this for fine, detailed textures on tree bark and individual leaves.

      • Layering and Glazing: Build up layers of paint to add depth and variation in the foliage.

      • Stippling: Use small dots of paint to build up the texture of dense foliage.
